tomato_catfish_chili Tomato Catfish Chili - Chunky, juicy, crimson tomatoes create the base for this unique tomato chili. Tomatoes just burst with flavor when cooked, and here they capture the flavor of the moist, tender, catfish fillets beautifully! We suggest a nice warm loaf of homemade bread to finish it off perfectly.

Prep Time: 5-10 mins
Cook Time: 30 mins
Servings: 6-8
Main Ingredient: Catfish, Vegetables

Ingredients to make Tomato Catfish Chili

2 lb Catfish fillets, chunked
1 c Chopped green pepper
2 tb Butter
2 Cloves minced garlic
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 lb Red kidney beans
1 lb Can tomatoes, undrained
6 oz Tomato paste

Directions to make Tomato Catfish Chili

Step 1:Saute green pepper and garlic in butter until tender. Add seasonings. Mix well. Add beans and tomatoes. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Step 2:Add fish. Cover and simmer 15 more minutes until fish flakes easily.
